The main story is that a virus, called Toxoplasm has ravaged the country. A company called the FOSNE (Federal Office of Super Natural Events) found the virus spreding in rat colonies. The virus seemed to rot the brain until it had gone and the virus takes control. It can't live for long and has to feed off warm blood. However, the bite transfers saliva which contains the Toxoplasm. So the virus spreads. The FOSNE failed to contain it so a rat escped and bit a man. He fell to the floor as the virus ate away his brain. Then he stopped shaking and roared. He ran to the nearest person and bit them. The virus spread like a wild fire. From town to town, city to city. The virus engulfed the country. The FOSNE had specialist weapons to deal with this situation. They were the only known survivors. However, you and another person, Dimitri, survived. You lived near a FOSNE headquarters so you raided and got the specialist weapons and a few of your own. You decide to travel around to find survivors. Your aim is to get to the main FOSNE outpost to escape the newly zombie controlled America before all the helicopters and planes leave the country.
